IS THE POOL HEATED?

Yes! We guarantee our the pool to be heated all year round. We want our students and instructors to be as comfortable as possible during lessons.


How long is it going to take my child to learn?

Every child is different in their own unique way. Some children can learn in days, while others can take weeks or even months. The child will learn at their own pace and time. While we can constantly reinforce something every lesson, it might take your child more than 1 lesson to learn and absorb it. If they are having a hard time adjusting, it can take even more time and patience from both the child and parents.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD IS READY FOR LESSONS?

The most common thing I hear from parents it “my kid LOVES the water!”. While I know a lot of kids love the water, when they are in lessons, it can be very different for them! We teach ages 6 months and up. Even if they don’t “love” the water, we still recommend starting lessons so they can learn water safety and become more comfortable with water.

Is my child too young?

We teach ages 3 months and up for private one on one, 4 - 8 years old for semi private and no age requirement for baby and me. For babies 1 and under, we do want parents to understand the lessons are beneficial! Even at 3 months old, we can teach children how to safely self rescue.

we don’t have a pool. so why do we need lessons?

I am frequently asked why kids need lessons if they don’t live in a home with a pool! While you might not have a pool in your living space, there are plenty of other places you might visit that do. Beaches, friends houses, hotels, etc! Swimming lessons are not just for those who have pools! They are for everyone who wants to learn water safety.

DO YOU OFFER HOusE CALLS or lessons at our home?

Yes we do! Please keep in mind that house calls do cost more than our general lessons held at our pool, as it takes additional time out of our schedule for the travel involved. We are happy to provide house calls all throughout Southern California.

DO YOU OFFER MOMMY AND ME CLASSES?

Yes we do! We offer two types of baby and me - group and Private. Group baby & Me will be available Fridays at 11:30. These classes will have 8 spot’s available, but we can not guarantee the class will be full. (April - September only)

Private Baby & Me is great for those who want a customized baby & me experience. These are available on Miss Nicole’s availability on our scheduling part of our site, with various days and times available. (Available all year around)

CAN I GET IN THE POOL WITH MY KID DURING THEIR LESSON?

As much as we love parents who want to be apart of the lesson, unfortunately we can not have parents in the pool during our private 1:1 lessons. Parents are permitted to be in the pool for Baby & Me sessions, but the instructor may not handle the child. Seating is available on the pool deck, so you can watch the entire lesson from the designated areas on the pool deck if you choose to do so!

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?

No we do not, but we are happy to reschedule any missed or cancelled classes!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We require that you do cancel 24 hrs before your lesson, to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancelled after the 24 hr frame, you will be charged a cancellation fee. If the parent, child, or teacher is sick the lesson can be cancelled 2 hours before the lesson. In regards to weather, or emergencies, the lessons can be cancelled up until the start time of your lesson. In the case of weather or emergency cancellation, you will be credited your lesson and may reschedule. Please keep in mind that we know life happens and can be flexible with this policy, as long as you communicate with us

i texted/EMAILED/called you - when should i expect a response?

Our goal is to respond to every message, text, email, etc. in as short of a period of time as possible. Our priority is to respond in as quick of a matter as possible, but during our busy season we can sometimes be teaching for up to 6 hours at a time, which can cause a period of time between your inquiry and our response. Our promise is by the end of the day at the latest (we generally stop responding to texts after 9/9:30 pm, so if a text is sent after this, you will receive a response the next morning). If you haven’t heard from us by the next morning, we suggest calling as a follow up.
