The Elma Yates Scholarship

The Elma Yates Scholarship

A legacy of love, giving, and making a splash.

Elma Yates wasn’t just Nicole’s grandmother — she was the heart behind Just Keep Swimming School. Her generosity and belief in the mission helped turn a dream into a reality. She funded the launch of the swim school and supported it through its early days, giving us the chance to grow and serve our community.

Elma loved everything about the swim school — the stories, the smiles, the progress. She was our biggest cheerleader.

In February 2022, Elma passed away at 96 after a beautiful, full life. Before she passed, Nicole promised to keep her legacy alive in the business — and so, in January 2023, we launched The Elma Yates Scholarship Program.
